Hypospadias
Hypospadias is a birth defect where the opening of the urethra (the tube through which urine exits the body) is not located at the tip of the penis. The condition is usually diagnosed soon after birth and can be repaired with surgery from the age of six months. During hypospadias surgery, the shaft of the penis may require straightening followed by repositioning of the urethral opening.
