Appendicitis

Appendicitis
Appendicitis refers to inflammation of the appendix. The most common symptoms include loss of appetite, pain that starts around the belly button, which then moves to the lower right side of the abdomen, and occasionally fever. Other symptoms may include nausea and vomiting. It is important that appendicitis is treated timeously before complications arise. If you suspect that your child has the condition, medical assessment is advised.
